Fiction of the Internet

I miss you, raw writers. Your thirst to share yourself with the world, your bravery in posting thoughts run wild. So admirable. Now the dip back. We regressed into our safe beds, avoiding the need to brandish our swords from our sides, leaving them sheathed and unused. Once, in a distant time, our battle cries echoed through the realms of the internet, outlandish and authentic. Sure our armor could have been polished or our shields molded into something more resilient. Shouldn’t we rush into battle once more, letting loose the warrior tenacity we once possessed? Courageous as our characters, sharing them with all of their blemishes and scars. Let’s stride into battle again, with our swords sharper for the battle between authenticity and boxed conformity, assured that our keys type for the right side.
